I went to Cancun with my friends during my spring break. We chose to live in Beloved Hotel. We saw the ranking on Expedia, Belovd Hotel is first of the ranking.
We arrived at the hotel at about 11:30 pm. The hotel is far from the airport and the downtown, it's quiet, and the security is strict. The server gave us drinks immediately after we arrived. Since it's an all-inclusive hotel, we need to take photos after we checked in so that no one else could use our room number to get food, drinks, or other services in the hotel. The environment is so great, and the beach is just near the hotel. A staff leaded us to our own room, the room is big, a large balcony is in the room. Standing on the balcony, the sight are so good, the beach is right in front of me.
For the meals, we could choose any of the restaurants in the hotel. The service is like perfect. One night, I chose to eat near the beach. It was windy, and I felt cold. At that time, the waiter gave me a blanket, I felt warm and moved. They really gave us a feeling that we are at home, and making guests feel comfortable is everything.
Everyday we went out, the hotel would arrange a taxi for us. Everday we went back, the server would smile and said welcome back. When we got in our room, everything was tided up well, even the clothes and shoes are put in the right places.
Although the price is a little high, I think the services worth it. The service is like the soul of an hotel. University of Cancun is famous for hotel management. As a tourism city, Cancun's hotels represent a good model of hotel services.
I am going to major in hospitality management, I think the experience in Cancun is vey good for me. That was the best service I have ever had in a hotel, the Beloved Hotel has so much that other hotels could learn from it.
This is such a great experience for you! As I noticed, the guest services in the hotel in Cancun are well done, and I bet you have learned a lot about how to manage hotel. In my point of view, hospitality management major is more about gaining social experiences and internships for jobs in the hotel, and you did great on this part. Also, you wrote many details in hotel services and dining, and it is super attractive to me, and I can tell you had an enjoyable trip this Spring break!:)
ReplyDeleteAfter reading your blog post, I really want to go Cancun for maybe next spring break. And I want to live in that hotel. I went to a similar hotel in Miami two years ago. It was really great just like your experience. We did feel like home when we arrive. I strongly agree the service of the hotel makes the hotel special and make the stay memorable.
