Hotel management belongs to service industries. A big controversy in hospitality management is whether there should be one floor or several floors that should be only provided for women. Some hotels think that it's not necessary to provide floors to women since it's safe in a hotel. Others think More than 40 percent of all business travelers are women, and security is one of the biggest issues they face. Different perspective caused th controversy. Contoversies can push us to come up with the right answers. I have learned many controversies in my HB classs. Here is website which I think tells the right answer abou the controversy I have mentioned.

Personally, I think it is a controversial topic that many people are arguing about. Safety, as the most important element in our daily life, women should have concerns about whether the room is safe enough. Here is my suggestion to deal with this problem: let women vote about whether they agree or disagree about separating floors for women only. If majority women agrees, then hotels can provide one separate floor. If not, then just do not do it. In this way, hotels would not have many issues about revenues losses or popularity.
